Founded in 1994 by Telekom Malaysia, Multimedia University (MMU) is Malaysia’s first private university and a premier research institution located in Cyberjaya and Melaka. Initially established as the Institute of Telecommunication and Information Technology, it was renamed Universiti Telekom in 1996 before becoming Multimedia University in 1999.
